Scriptures of Encouragement ~ In Your Unrest, Behold My Calm

"O soul, are you weary and troubled? No light in the darkness you see?
There's light for a look at the Savior, And life more abundant and free!

"Turn your eyes upon Jesus, Look full in His wonderful face,
And the things of earth will grow strangely dim
In the light of His glory and grace." ~ Helen H. Lemmel

My darlin', through the pages of God Calling, the Lord would say to you and to me:

"Turn your eyes to behold Me. Look away from sordid surroundings, from lack of beauty, from the imperfections in yourselves and those around you. Then you who have the Faith-Vision will see all you could and do desire in Me.

"In your unrest behold My calm, My rest. In your impatience, My unfailing patience. In your lack and limitation, My perfection.

"Looking at Me you will grow like Me, until men say to you, too, that you have been with Jesus."*

Father God, Open our eyes to see Your face. Open our hearts to seek Your face and in the seeking, finding and in the finding, knowing - knowing that You hold us in the palm of Your hand. We are loved by an awesome God. Thank You for that knowledge Lord. Bless Your holy Name!
