I Love You, Lord

"I love the Lord because He hears my voice and my prayer for mercy. Because He bends down to listen, I will pray as long as I have breath! How kind the Lord is! How good He is! So merciful, this God of ours! The Lord protects those of childlike faith; I was facing death, and He saved me. Let my soul be at rest again, for the Lord has been good to me. He has saved me from death, my eyes from tears, my feet from stumbling. And so I walk in the Lord's Presence as I live here on earth!" ~ Psalms 116:1,2,5-9, NLT

"And so I walk in the Lord's Presence as I live here on earth!"

What an amazing thought! Close your eyes and let it steep for a minute...the Lord's Presence...I walk in the Lord's Presence as I live here on earth! Wow.

Beloved, I pray the Lord will make this a reality in each of our lives. We know it in our heads, but we need to know it in our knowers. We need to be bathed in the depth of this truth. Elohim, the Creator of the Universe dwells in us. He walks with us. He talks with us and, yes, He tells us we are His own. We are surrounded by His love, guarded by His angels. We are not alone, no matter the struggle we are facing. We are not alone.

Can you say today, "I love You, Lord"? Are you overcome with the goodness of the Lord - His mercy, His provision, His faithfulness? Take a minute to think on these things. Remember His goodness. Remember that answered prayer. Remember the peace that made absolutely no sense. Remember the strength offered to weary bones. And then say, "I love you, Lord".

Yes, our Lord is with us.
Praise His Holy Name.

Father, Quicken this truth to our hearts. Make Your Presence a reality in our lives. Open our eyes to see You, to recognize You in our everyday lives. Teach us to look for You, Lord. And, Lord, for your faithfulness we say thank You and we love You. Yes, we love You and we give You praise.
