Lord, You are so good, so tender towards Your children. How can we grasp Your love? How can we remove it from our human limitations and release our understanding to the splendor and magnificence of who You are? Help us, Lord. Awaken our hearts to know Your love without question, without criteria, without conditions. Open our eyes to see. Thank You Lord. We desire to be transformed into Your image that others might know Your love. We desire to be a light in the darkness, to sow peace where there is despair, joy where there is sorrow. Use us for Your glory. Lord, I pray for my friends who need to experience Your warm embrace. They love You, Lord. They know You, but their hearts have grown dim from the struggle. They are weary Lord and in need of a fresh touch from You. Show Yourself strong in their lives. Let their spirits stir with anticipation of how You will meet their needs, be it spiritual, physical, emotional...You are Jehovah-jireh, our provider; Jehovah-rapha, our healer. You, O LORD, are our God. Nothing is too difficult for You. You pursue us with Your love. You delight in caring for Your child. Hold my friends close. Wipe their tears and comfort them. Hide them beneath the shadow of Your wing - that place of great love found within Your presence - hide them, Lord until the calamity passes them by. You are a great God, the Mighty King, our Savior, and Redeemer. Bless You Lord. You alone are worthy of our praise.
