Where is God? Sunday Glimpses

by Nan Jones   @NanJonesAuthor

Lord, I heard You calling me this morning. Thank You for opening my ears to hear. Thank You for loving me enough to bid me to come. I need You Lord. I need Your strength, Your joy. I need endurance to overcome my weariness.

You are faithful Lord. You have amazed me with Your tender care, Your gentle touch when my heart is hurting. I ask for a fresh anointing of strength. Help me to focus on You and Your purposes. Help me step confidently into Your plan for my life.

I bring my friends before Your throne of grace. Many are hurting or feel overwhelmed. They need Your peace Lord. I ask that You pour out Your peace on them. Let it flow from the top of their heads to the soles of their feet for You are our Prince of Peace, the Lover of our souls. You restore us, redeem us, repair our broken places. Be our peace, Lord. We love You and we glorify Your holy Name, for You are our God and we are Your people. Blessed be the Name of the Lord.
