Father, matters of the heart are so difficult. Complex. Layers of emotions that consume me. I'm thankful You are the Master of my heart. You Lord, are my Healer. I ask that You pour the Healing Balm of Gilead over and through my broken places. I want to be whole again - complete in You. I want to be a vessel for Your glory. Use me Lord. Mold me. Shape me into the woman You need me to be.
I ask that You heal the hearts of my friends also. Where there is sorrow, bring joy. Where there is bitterness, bring forgiveness. For their fear, bring courage and peace. Thank You for Your grace Lord. It truly is amazing and beautiful. Your grace has sustained me and given me the strength to go on. For that I am so very thankful.
You are an awesome God, full of wonder, mighty in power, tender in Your love. Thank You for being our God. Our hearts belong to You and for that we give You praise.

Beautiful prayer, Nan. I read it the first time and it soothed me. I read it the second time, out loud, to my Father. Thank you for such touching words.
ReplyDeletePraise God Sherry. That blesses me more than you know because each time I write Sunday Glimpses I pray and ask the Lord to use our conversation to draw others near to Him at their point of need. Then I close my eyes and type as I pray. God is so faithful, isn't He?
