I think of the broken places in my life - the loss of loved ones, unemployment, a beautiful marriage destroyed. I think of the jagged places that are sharp and painful. I think of the crevices that run deep and allow my heart to bleed when I least expect it.
And then I think of the Living Water of my God that flows over and through my heart. Day after day, moment by moment ... ever-flowing, ever-washing, ever-smoothing away the jagged, broken places.
His grace is amazing indeed.
"But God shows undeserved kindness to everyone. That's why He appointed Christ Jesus to choose you to share in His eternal glory.

Even before I completely unwrapped this present to take a peek a inside to see what God placed on your heart to write - to give to us - I had the song, "I've Got Peace Like a River" flowing through my mind. After carefully taking it out of the box and reading this, I now have "It is Well" trickling through my heart. Thank you for this beautiful reminder of Who is able to and put back together our hearts and lives when we feel so destroyed by life's circumstances. Love you! :-)
