Where is God? Sunday Glimpses

Lord, You have reminded me that You are a jealous God who desires to be my first love. That was a hard pill to swallow because I absolutely do love You. But You are right. I have allowed my thoughts to be consumed with other things. I have not been content in all things. And for that I'm sorry. Please forgive me.

You are my everything. My Redeemer. My Friend. You are my Strong Tower where I run to find safety. You are my Provider. My Righteousness and the Healer of my broken heart. Thank You Lord. I praise You.

Thank You for my friends across social media. They, too, love You. I ask that You quicken to them a possible need for a heart evaluation. Restore to them the joy of their salvation. Shine a light, like You did for me, on anything in their lives that takes precedence over You. 

You promise to draw near to those who draw near to You. What a blessed assurance that is Lord. Open our eyes that we might see You. Help us all remember that You are Almighty God, but You are also the lover of our souls. We love You and we give You praise.
