You Are Worthy O Lord to be Praised!

"You are worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honor and power; for You created all things, and by Your will they exist and were created."
(Revelation 4:11)

"You are worthy, O Lord!" Doesn't it just feel good to speak those words? "You are worthy, O Lord to receive glory and honor and power!" Go ahead, declare them from your heart! Let your praises bring you into the very presence of God.

We were created for God's pleasure - thelema (the-leem-mah) - because of His WILL. He desires fellowship with His creation. He desires companionship with His creation.

He didn't create us because He HAD to. He created us because He WANTED to. He wants to walk hand in hand with us.

When we praise Him, we bring Him glory and honor.
When we praise him, we acknowledge His presence in our lives.
When we praise Him, joy unspeakable fills our hearts. The Mighty Hand of God clasps His fingers in ours and we know we are not alone.

We praise You, O Lord our God! We worship and adore You. We lift Your Name on High and declare Your wonders to the world around us. I pray that we would desire Your presence as much as You desire ours. Thank you for tearing the veil in two that separated us from Your dwelling place. Thank You that because of the blood of Jesus You now dwell within us. Forgive us for when we forget that Truth. May we be pleasing in Your sight and honor You with our lives.
